More Progress

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent responses to the Trust to help us meet our diverse goals. You Are Our Roots has been a new kind of campaign, and you have made it a success.

We have succeeded in recruiting not 10 but 13 volunteers, a true success and a tribute to your dedication to the Trust!

We have pushed past the $7,000 mark, and are less than $3,000 from our financial goal!

Many of you have responded to our call for a greener membership, and a total 16% of the Trust's membership has contributed to making us a more sustainable organization.

With numerous leads, we are also moving toward our goals for new business and individual members.

We intend to track this campaign to its conclusion, keeping you posted on its progress! We are sure that with your help and an ongoing commitment, we can still meet these goals.

Update!

We received another $550 for our financial goal today! Thank you to all the generous contributors who have helped us near our goal for this campaign. With only $3,625 to go, let's put our goal in perspective.

$3625 =
29 gifts of $125
or
48 gifts of $75
or
145 gifts of $25
or
725 gifts of $5

We hope you'll give what you can to the Trust. Every gift is important and every gift helps.

But this campaign is about more than money- we have recruited three new members so far, and are looking for 97 more. If you are willing to help the Trust find new members or volunteers, please just fill out this form and email it to membership@georgiatrust.org. We will send you whatever materials you need, and we are happy to follow up with you and provide whatever support we can.

Thank you again so much for your help to the Trust- thank you for making preservation a priority in Georgia.

Welcome! A new campaign update.

Welcome to the official blog of the Georgia Trust's You Are Our Roots midyear campaign for membership! This is the place to look for updates on our progress as we continue the You Are Our Roots campaign.

A recent wave of generosity has helped propel this campaign forward- we are more than half-way to our financial goal of $10,000. With your help we can meet that and our other campaign goals- together, we can make the Trust a greener, more responsive and member-driven organization.

Here at the Roots blog, you can track campaign progress and hold the Trust accountable- give us your ideas and feedback! The Trust is grateful for your time, your ideas, your gifts. We hope that you will get involved or give back, that you will help us grow and become a stronger organization. Campaign Update!

It's been a wonderful day of this ongoing campaign. We just received a large gift from a long-time donor, and that has pushed us 1/10th of the way to our financial goal of $10,000. Additionally, requests to go green have been streaming in, and we are making steady progress in a more sustainable direction.

If you are interested in helping us make our goal of 10 new volunteers for the Trust, or if you have any membership leads, feel free to comment here with your contact information. We will be sure to get in touch with you as quickly as possible.

Thank you all for your commitment to this campaign. We are truly at a unique point in the Trust's history, and your efforts make all the difference.
